Tagbilaran City Seaport
The port of Tagbilaran is the city’s main seaport and is located on the northern edge of the city. Travelers to and from Bohol uses the port as its main mode of entry, more so than the airport.
The port attends to more or less 5,000 passengers daily coming from Cebu on board fast crafts and regular ferries coming from Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Dipolog, Dumaguete, Cebu and Manila; not to mention cargo ships.
Tagbilaran seaport now referred to by locals as the “Tagbilaran City Tourist Pier” is well-equipped and spacious. It has a 265.8 meters berth length and 2 dedicated berths for fast boats, and 2 RORO ramps.
A 1,820 square meter storage area is available with an average cargo handling capacity of 49,000 tons; and can accommodate 10 to 20 footer vans with container traffic of 5,142 TEUs.

A terminal or waiting area for passengers is provided.
Ticket booths, food and souvenir stalls are available inside the terminal. Outside the terminal is a wide parking area where vans for hire are parked.
A specified area is set aside for small multi-cabs that will bring passengers direct to the Dao Integrated Terminal.
Tricycles are also available outside if your destination is within city limits only.
The port of Tagbilaran is a place which every Boholano can be proud of. It is very clean, spacious, and well-ordered.
The people manning the port are courteous, soft-spoken and friendly and may be the reason why the city is often coined as the “City of Friendship” by visitors, foreign and locals alike.
The port at night is breathless to behold when the fancy lights placed on the posts are on. The posts lie on a straight line from the entrance up to the parking area.
A wide space is provided for strollers, joggers, and those who just want to relax and watch the small and large vessels pass by.
Hungry passengers can avail of very delicious foods at two sea-side naturally air-conditioned restaurants located near the entrance of the pier. Foods offered are native dishes at reasonable prices.
